The $12.5 million Ranch View Townhome addition is nearly ready for occupancy. Fort Worth developer Ken Mitchell sited the complex at the intersection of Joe Ramsey Blvd. (U.S. Hwy 69) and Industrial Blvd, providing necessary improvements to infrastructure as part of the development. Mitchell helped to fund extension of water and sewer lines to the site, illegal dumping cleanup, and TxDOT mandated improvements to the highway intersection. He also agreed to pave the unimproved section of Industrial Blvd. adjacent to the property. The Greenville Board of Development assisted with site selection, while additional financing was provided by the North Central Texas Housing Finance Corporation.
The 250-unit development includes two- and three-bedroom family size townhomes in what Mitchell describes as "a first class development". Amenities include a soccer field on the property, a health club with exercise equipment, and a swimming pool.
