Utilities and Infrastructure

reenville offers a full-range of utilities and an abundance of land with infrastructure, making it a major attraction to virtually any size of business.

With over 19-million gallons of water per day, Greenville can adequately supply business and industry with most manufacturing needs. Greenville’s water treatment facility has been recognized by state and federal regulators for its quality standards and performance. Recently, Greenville completed a full Sewer Sanitation Improvement Program (SSIP) that will enable the city to provide and even better collection system.

GEUS, a municipally-owned utility company that is a member of the Texas Municipal Power Association, has been providing reliable electricity to Greenville since March 4, 1892. Powered by a variety of production methods, GEUS can deliver a cost-effective reliable source of energy to your business. GEUS powers the Greenville Industrial Park with over 4,680,000 sf of manufacturing space, and powers the Greenville Majors Field Municipal Airport with over 3,000,000 sf of hangar and administration space.

 

 

GEUS is also the first city in Texas to offer its citizen-owned high-speed internet/cable service, providing business and industry with state-of-the-art communication and information systems. Additionally, Comcast offers a full-range of cable television programming while SBC and AT&T provide digital internet communications. SBC also provides local telephone service.

TXU Gas Company provides natural gas service through 10-inch mains. BTU content is 1,060 per cubic feet.
